Designed by Tom Fazio with Dennis Wise, opened in 1990; at the time it was regarded as one of the top new courses in Florida.
A Fazio-led renovation (widely dated to around 2012) added championship tees, reshaped greens, reworked bunkers, and reconfigured several holes.
The signature feature is the "Super Dune," a roughly 50-foot man-made dune with its own tee, green, and waterfall, overlooking as many as 14 holes.
Emerald Dunes opened as an upscale daily-fee public course and now operates as a private, member-owned club, per current club and industry directories.
