History

Originally designed by Bill Watts, opening in the 1970s (the club’s own site gives conflicting years — 1971 in one place, 1979 in another).

Underwent a major renovation by Arthur Hills, completed in 2004.

Hosted the LPGA Tour’s Mazda Classic from 1979 to 1984, plus qualifying rounds for the 2003 USGA Senior Open and 2002 USGA Amateur Championship, and regularly hosts the Broward County Amateur.

Per the club’s own site, Golfweek ranked it the #1 public course in Broward County and #27 among public-access courses in Florida in 2025.
